I earned a bachelor’s of science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Binghamton University in 2020 where I worked in the lab of Dr. Karin Sauer to identify signals that triggers biofilm formation via the SagS sensor in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. From there I earned my masters at Northwestern University in the lab of Dr. Francesca Duncan where I developed an organoid system to study the stromal compartment of the aging ovary. During this time I became interested in studying different aspects of reproductive biology. I recently joined the Mogessie lab as a Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology PhD student where I plan to study post-translational modifications of microtubules in the mammalian meiotic spindle.
